About Us

Graceful Aging Home Care is owned and operated by Erica Nowlen and Shayla Hamlin.  Erica and Shayla are both passionate about advocating for seniors and committed to ensuring seniors receive high-quality professional care in their home. Our clients are always at the center of every business decision made.

Erica has over 15 years of direct patient care experience.  She has seen the good, bad, and ugly of many nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and rehabilitation centers.  During her tenure, she noticed that the vast majority of these facilities failed to provide patient-centered care that honored patients’ preferences.  It is well known that most seniors prefer to remain in their own homes as long as possible.  Erica is confident that Graceful Aging Home Care will allow seniors to remain independent in their home by bringing home care services to them.  Caring for seniors is not just a job to Erica, it’s a calling.

Shayla is a healthcare analyst with many years of experience in health policy and healthcare management.  She has worked with State governments, the Federal government, large hospital systems and health insurance companies to help transform the US healthcare industry. Shayla is committed to improving how healthcare is delivered in our country.  Having played a vital role in caring for her aging grandfather, she is most passionate about senior care. She knows first-hand how difficult it can be caring for an aging loved one. Shayla is steadfast in ensuring that Graceful Aging Home Care helps improve the quality of life of their senior clients and their families by providing dependable, high-quality, and affordable services.

Our team of amazing caregivers are passionate about helping others!  They are patient and positive, with great people skills.  In addition, they are dependable, honest, and caring.  For you, this translates into peace of mind, and the highest quality of services. We are licensed, bonded and insured to protect our clients.  Our rates are reasonable and affordably priced based on the level of care a client needs. Our rates reflect high-quality caregiving.  Shopping for the  lowest price may be okay for groceries, but not the services of a trained caregiver.     ,
